The Commodore PET Changed my life...

I saw my first computer in the early eighties. We were asked to toss a coin one hundred times and record the results. Then they wheeled in a computer programmed to generate one thousand ones (head) and zeros (tails). I watched the green blur on the screen and up popped the results. I was hooked. The time-saving possibilities of this device were oddly intoxicating.

From that day forward I was on a path. As a computer system designer I've forged a 25-year career from saving other people's time. That leaves them to do the interesting parts of their job while my computer systems do the dull, repetitive drudgery.
